We've rushed out the door
countless late Monday mornings
and waltzed in on many
a soft, moonlit night.

We've watched as first steps
became first days of school,
with our arms letting go
but our hearts holding tight.

We've welcomed in memories,
their lovelight and laughter
lingering on in a sweet afterglow.

And we've said some good-byes,
amazed how time flies
since that "JUST YOU AND ME"
of so long ago.

Together we've seen how
the seasons have changed,
but one thing remains
so steady and true...

Here at the HEART of
this life that we've made
is my comfort, my "HOME,"
my happiness....you.
